First Baptist Church is a member of the following organizations:
Coffey County Evangelical Ministerial Association: CCEMA is a group of Protestant, evangelical churches in the Burlington/Coffey County area who work together to meet social needs of the community, provide community wide activities, and provide a ministry of food distribution and more through God’s Storehouse. CCEMA meet monthly, and hosted by churches taking turns. Currently the President is our Pastor, Jay Hale.
Flint Hills Association of Southern Baptists: Churches from Americus to Yates Center, in East Central Kansas band together to aid one another and to provide services, assistance and opportunities not otherwise possible. Many hands make light work, and together we help each other help you.
Southern Baptist Convention: The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a fellowship of over 47,000 Baptist churches scattered across the United States and its territories. These congregations, comprised of numerous racial, ethnic, language, and socioeconomic people groups, are called “cooperating churches.” They have organized themselves to accomplish a special set of missions and ministry initiatives, all for the purpose of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people everywhere.
