    Directors

Director of Training – Lawrence Comfort is responsible for the efforts of the church to train people “how to…”  Discipleship classes that help people know how to live their Christian life in their context fall in this category.  Work to prepare people to participate in mission efforts also fall under this category.

Director of Education – Stan Devena oversees the ministries focused on educating people in God’s word and about our denomination.  This includes Bible studies on Sunday mornings, ladies’ studies, or studies at home.  Efforts to educate people about the Southern Baptist Convention and our relationship to it fall under Stan’s purview, also.

Director of Facilities – David Donohoe leads efforts to improve, maintain and effectively use the facilities God has provided for us.  He oversees all efforts to improve the appearance and accessibility of the facilities – mowing, shrubbery, snow removal, etc.  He also works to improve the usefulness and efficiency of the building’s interior spaces.

Director of Worship and Fellowship Ministries – Jim Garner works with a variety of people as he leads in this area.  Regarding worship ministries, Jim looks for opportunities to help the congregation to worship – whether in music, other ministries from outside the church, or in other forms of worship arts.  In addition to leading in the worship ministries of the church, he is also currently serving as the music leader for the church.  Jim is responsible to make sure the hospitality teams have all they need to facilitate the fellowship times of the church.Jim Garner - Music Director. Jim, besides being a deacon leads our music ministry. He is a former band teacher and is well suited to lead our instrumentalists for our worship service.

Director of Administration – Starley Hatch oversees the administrative efforts of the church including information sharing and protection, preparation of budgets for the church’s approval, driving the effort to identify workers in various areas, and records administration and preservation

Director of Mobilization – Jeff Suter is always on the lookout for practical ministries we can accomplish in our own community as well as researching potential spots for mission trips for the church.  As a result of his efforts, FBC has had engaging times of ministry in Arkansas, Nebraska and Kansas as well as blitzes in our own community.
